Frequently asked questions.

1.     Why snack on oat clusters?

  • Oats are slow releasing complex carbohydrates that discharge energy gradually so you stay fuller for longer. Only a small handful of clusters is needed to feel satisfied. Coconut is highly nutritious and rich in fibre, vitamins and minerals. Chia seeds are a superfood that provide sustainable energy. They’re loaded with antioxidants, fibre, protein and omega 3 fatty acids. Our organic oat clusters are delicious and sustaining!

  • We use sweeteners derived from brown rice syrup (100% organic brown rice), which is gluten, fructose and GMO free (has no added cane sugar) and organic maple syrup.

8.     Why is there a saturated fat content?

  • We use organic coconut that raises the level of saturated fat in comparison to other products that don’t have any added coconut.

9.     Is there fibre in your snack?

  • Yes, there is 3.4g of fibre per serve (9.7g per 100g).

10.  What are food additives (numbers)?

  • These may include artificial colours, antioxidants, preservatives, emulsifiers and flavour enhancers which have complex chemical names and would be better suited in a science lab than in foods in a pantry.

11.  What’s wrong with eating food additives?

  • The average person in Australia may unknowingly consume large amounts of additives each year. Many people have intolerances to additives that can worsen with the amount consumed. There are strong links between food additives, hyperactivity and asthma in children. The long-term effects of eating food with additives is unknown.
